Iran has formally become a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while presiding over the SCO summit on Tuesday, extended his best wishes to Iran. Till now SCO consisted of eight member states, which include China, Russia, India, Pakistan and four Central Asian countries Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
