E talks about the fact that this microorganism indicates the level of pollution. G carries this idea further forward by stating in 'an environment'. BDI: B introduces 'iron deficiency' and states that it is 'associated' with something. This is carried forward in D which completes the idea introduced in B; it is 'associated' with 'poor brain development' and 'long term impairment'. I carries this idea forward by stating 'impairment' of 'of behavioural and cognitive performance'. CFH: C introduces the 'Chernobyl catastrophe' and the fact that it has inspired many literary works. F goes on to name the authors whose works have been inspired by the catastrophe, i.e. Svetlana Alexievich and Christa Wolf. H carries the idea forward by stating that these literary works acknowledge the ways in which narratives 'fall short of providing closure'. Amongst these, only BDI and CFH are mentioned in the given options. The other triplets are incorrectly matched. Hence, e) is the correct answer.
