APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) in association with Agriculture University, Jodhpur, organized an orientation programme for start-ups in agri-export. About APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) ○ APEDA was established by the Government of India under the Agricultural and   Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act 1985. ○ It is a statutory body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry (*NOT* Ministry of Agriculture). ○ APEDA is mandated with the responsibility of export promotion of agricultural   and processed food products. ○ APEDA has its headquarters in New Delhi.
