About Garib Kalyan RojgarAbhiyaan: ● Launch: ○ It was launched by PM Modi on 20th June 2020 from the village Telihar , Block Beldaur, district Khagaria, Bihar. ● Coverage: ○ 116 districts in 6 states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Odisha. ● Salient features: ○ Garib Kalyan RojgarAbhiyaan was a mission mode project that was operational for  125 days. ○ An amount of Rs 50,000 Crores was to be spent on building durable rural  infrastructure under the Garib Kalyan RojgarAbhiyaan. ○ 25 work areas (including works under Mahatma Gandhi NREGS) had been  identified for employment in villages, for the development of various works.
