Explanation: For the creation of agricultural marketing infrastructure, the Directorate of Marketing & Inspection, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India has launched ‘The Agriculture Marketing Infrastructure (AMI) scheme as a sub-scheme of the Integrated Scheme for Agricultural Marketing (ISAM) scheme.
