Question
Ritesh got 84 marks in an exam, which is 100% more than the marks secured by Mohan. If Mohan failed the exam by 4 marks, then find the total marks of Ritesh, Mohan and Suman, given that Suman missed the passing score by 2 marks.
Solution
ATQ,
Ritesh’s score = 84
Mohan’s score = 84 / 2 = 42
Passing marks = 42 + 4 = 46
Suman’s score = 46 - 2 = 44
So, required sum = 84 + 42 + 44 = 170
