Solution

Since they cover 10km and 12km in equal time, their speeds will be in the same ratio as their distance covered. Speed =`(Distance)/(Time)` = `10/12` =`5/6` Hence, `10/(6x)+4/60=12/(5x)` `x=11` Rakesh’s speed = 66 km/hr
