वाक्य सही क्रम या अन्विति न होने से, लिंग, वचन, कारक का सही प्रयोग नहीं होने से, सही सर्वनाम एवं क्रिया का प्रयोग न होने से वाक्य अशुद्ध हो जाता है। जैसे- उसने कहा कि मैं चार भाई हूँँ। यहां पर वाक्य में 'मैं' गलत है उसके स्थान पर 'हम' उचित होगा। 'आप भेजे थे' के स्थान पर 'आपने भेजा था ' का प्रयोग होगा। शुद्ध वाक्य होगा- 'आपका मित्र जिसे आपने भेजा था मुझसे मिला था।' अत: ''जिसे आप भेजे थे।'' सही उत्तर हैै।
