SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam 2020 Pattern

While looking at the notification candidates generally look out for the examination pattern because the exam pattern defines the whole exam. While looking at the SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam 2020 candidate will understand the format of the exam and the sections that are involved in it. SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam 2020 exam pattern involves three sections named as English Language and Composition, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness. Two hours will be given for the examination. General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness contains equal weightage in the exam. Complete details about the exam pattern is provided below:

  • SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D exam will be Objective type multiple choice only.
  • The examination is Computer Based test.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

Skill Test in Stenography

The candidates who qualify the written examination, will be called out for the Skill test in stenography. A total of ten minutes will be given to the candidate for dictation in English or Hindi as opted by candidates while filling out the application form

  • Speed for the post of Stenographer Grade C is 100 words per minute.
  • Speed for the post of Stenographer Grade D is 80 words per minute.
