Indian Bank was established on 15th August 1907, with headquarter in Chennai. Every year it invites applications from young and bright graduates who are interested in making their career in banking. This year too it can be expected that Indian Bank will invite applications for admission to the one year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) course at Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking (IBMSB), which has been set up jointly by Indian Bank and Manipal Global Education Service Pvt Ltd. Indian Bank PO Exam 2024 Exam Pattern
Candidates will be selected by Indian Bank through a selection process consisting of an online test in two stages ie. Preliminary and Main Examination followed by Interview. The exam will be conducted in selected cities. A candidate should go through the notification carefully so that he/she knows all minute details. The exam will be held in three Phases mentioned below: -

Indian Bank PO 2021 Prelims Exam Pattern
The first stage of the exam process is the Preliminary exam. One of the important steps of your exam preparation is knowing the complete Indian Bank PO Prelims exam pattern. It will test your knowledge on three subjects: English Language, Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Aptitude. A composite time of 1 hour will be provided to complete the test. There will also be a negative marking for wrongly attempted questions. 1/4th or 0.25 marks of the allotted marks will be deducted in case of an incorrect answer. There will not be any deduction for an unattempted question. Further details have been given in the following table.

Indian Bank PO Mains Exam Pattern
After the preliminary examination has been conducted, the candidates who qualify in the same will be called for the second stage, ie. the Indian Bank PO Main Examination. Unlike the first stage, the marks obtained in this exam will be considered in the final selection. This stage will also contain a negative marking of 0.25 marks. Candidates’ speed and accuracy will play a big role in attaining the required cut-off marks which will help in moving on to the final stage of Interview.

Indian Bank PO Interview
After the completion of second stage, ie. Main exam, the candidates who secure cut-off marks, will be called subsequently for the final round of Indian Bank PO interview. The expected allotted marks are 100. The minimum qualifying marks for General category are expected to be 40% whereas for other reserved candidates, it is expected to be 35%. The weightage of the Main exam and the interview is expected to be 80:20 as earlier.

The candidates belonging to the General category will have to follow the standard age criteria. But the candidates belonging to certain categories will be provided with an age relaxation of a few years,the time period of which will vary depending on the category of each such candidate.
