With the announcement of the SBI Junior Associates notification, the  SBI Clerk 2021 vacancies stand at 5237, 5000 vacancies have been announced for regular posts and 237 for Backlog posts. The number of vacancies for SBI JA recruitment 2020 was 8134.

SBI Clerk 2021: Exam Pattern

As per the SBI official notification “No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are prescribed.” Thus, there will not be any sectional cut-off for this year’s SBI Junior Associates Recruitment’s Online Examination. However, the final decision concerning the cut-off criteria rests solely with the organization.  

SBI Clerk Exam 2021 will be conducted in two phases, Prelims and Mains. The fact that there will be no interview is the best part of the SBI Clerk Exam. However, candidates must pass the SBI Clerk Prelims and Mains Exams. A sectional timing will be there. SBI JA Exam 2021 questions will all be objective, i.e. multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

SBI Clerk Mains Exam Pattern

The SBI Clerk mains exam 2021 has four sections: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude. There will be a total of 190 questions on the test paper. The exam has a total of 200 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 40 minutes. Each section has a set of sectional timings.

SBI Clerk 2021: Exam Final Score Calculation

The final score for the SBI Clerk exam is calculated based on the following important factors:

Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Those who qualify for selection and have a class 10 or 12 marks sheet/certificate demonstrating that they have studied the specified opted local language will not be required to take a language test. Others (qualified for selection) will undergo a specified opted local language test after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates who are not found to be fluent in the chosen local language will be disqualified.

SBI Clerk 2021: Eligibility Criteria

As of April 1, 2021, a candidate must be at least 20 years old but not more than 28 years old to apply for the SBI examination. Aside from that, according to government rules, there is age relaxation for certain categories of candidates:

SBI Clerk 2021: Educational Qualifications

  1. He or she must have a valid degree from a recognized university in any discipline on or before August 16, 2021.
  2. Candidates who hold an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should double-check the date of their IDD completion. Those in their final year/semester of study may also apply provisionally, subject to the requirement that, if provisionally selected, they produce proof of passing the graduation examination.
  3. Matriculate ex-servicemen who have completed at least 15 years of service in the Union Armed Forces and have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or a corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force are also eligible.
