In each question below are given two statements followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to take the two given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the two given statements, disregarding commonly known facts. Give Answer:

Statements: All actors are producers.

Some producers are not directors.

Conclusions: I. Some directors are actors.

II. All producers are actors.

Solution

All actors are producers (A) + Some producers are not directors (O) = No conclusion. Hence, conclusion I will not follow. All actors are producers (A) ⇒ Conversion ⇒ Some producers are actors (I). Hence, conclusion II will also not follow.
