Some Petal being Root is a possibility In each of the questions below some statements are given followed by two conclusions. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts.     Solution

    No Root is Stem (E) → No Stem is Root (E) + Some Root are Plant (I) → Some Plant are not Stem (O*) → Probable conclusion →   All Stem may be Plant (A). Hence conclusion I follows. No Root is Stem (E) + Some Stem are Petal (I) → Some Petal are not Root (O*) → Probable conclusion → Some Petal may be Root (A). Hence conclusion II follows.
