Question

In each of the questions below. Some statements are given followed by conclusions/group of conclusions numbered I and II. You have to assume all the statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from the commonly known facts and then decide which of the given two conclusions logically follows from the information given in the statements.

Statements: Only a few Bottle is Cold

    >All Cold are Weather Some Water are Weather Conclusions: I. All Bottle being Cold is a possibility II. Some Water is Cold
A only conclusion I follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B If only conclusion II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C If either I or II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D If neither I nor II follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E If both I and II follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

Only a few Bottle is Cold → Some Bottles are Cold (I) and Some Bottles are not Cold (O). Hence conclusion I does not follow. Some Water are Weather (I) + [All Cold are Weather (A) → Conversion] → Some Weather are Cold (I) → No conclusion. Hence conclusion II does not follow.
