      boxes are drawers. No can is a box. Conclusions: I. Some boxes are not bottles. II. Some bottles are boxes. III. Some drawers are boxes. In each of the questions below are given three statements followed by three conclusions numbered I, II and III. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts.       Solution

      Some bottles are not cans(O) + No can is a box(E) ⇒ No conclusion. Hence, conclusion I & II does not follow but they will make a complementary pair. All boxes are drawers(A) ⇒ Conversion ⇒ Some drawers are boxes(I). Hence, conclusion III follows.
