In each of the questions below are given three statements followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Read both the conclusions and then decide which of given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

Statements:

All TVs are laptop.

Some laptops are computers.

All computers are keyboards.

Conclusions:

I. Some TVs are computers.

II. Some laptops are keyboards.

Solution

All TVs are laptops (A) + Some laptops are computers (I) = No conclusion. Hence, conclusion I does not follow . Some laptops are computers(I) + All computers are keyboards (A) = Some laptops are keyboards (I). Hence, conclusion II will follow.
