How many persons are sitting in the
row? Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below. Certain number of persons are sitting in a linear row. Some of them are facing in the north and some of them are facing in the south direction. Karthik faces the north direction. Naman sits exactly at the middle of the row and faces north. Jiggi and Karthik both are sitting second to the left and second to the right of Naman respectively. Ajay sits second to the right of Jiggi and faces the same direction as Jiggi. Hemant is an immediate neighbour of Karthik but doesn't sit adjacent to Naman. Gagan sits fourth to the right of Hemant and at the one of the ends of the row. Gagan faces the same direction as Hemant faces. Two persons sit between Vikas and Ajay. Vikas is not an immediate neighbour of Naman. Kamal sits second from the left end of the row and doesn't faces south. Persons that are sitting at the end of the row are facing opposite direction to each other. Atmost three persons sit between Jiggi and Kamal. Immediate neighbours of Kamal, Jiggi and Hemant face opposite direction with respect to each other and immediate neighbours of Ajay and Naman faces the same direction. Immediate neighbour of Gagan faces the opposite direction with respect to Gagan and the person who is the neighbour of Gagan’s neighbour also faces opposite direction with respect to Gagan’s neighbour.Solution
STEP I: Naman sits exactly at the middle of the row and faces north. Jiggi and Karthik both are sitting second to the left and second to the right of Naman respectively.
