    at the right end. R1 is sitting to the immediate right of S1. U1 is sitting to the immediate left of T1, and T1 is sitting to the immediate left of Q1. P1 is sitting to the immediate left of S1. Who is sitting at the left end?

    Solution

     Q1 is at the extreme right end.  U1 is sitting to the immediate left of T1, and T1 is sitting to the immediate left of Q1. Thus, T1 is sitting between U1 and Q1.  R1 is sitting to the immediate right of S1.  P1 is sitting to the immediate left of S1, means P1 is sitting at the extreme left end. Final arrangement is shown below: From the above arrangement, it is clear that P1 is sitting at the left end. Hence, the correct answer is (D).
