Question
Study the information and answer the given questions:Â
Eight persons live on different floors in the same building. The building has eight floors ground floor is numbered 1 and the top most floor is numbered 8. (i) P does not live on an odd numbered floor. There is only one person who live between the floor on which S and T live. S lives on an even numbered floor below the floor on which P lives. (ii) O lives on floor above P but below M. There are only three persons lives between R and Q who lives on odd numbered floor above the floor on which G lives. (iii) P lives above the floor numbered 5. N lives one of the floors above on which T lives. How many persons live between R and O?Solution
From (i), (ii) and (iii), As we know that P lives above the floor no. 5 and also does not live on an odd numbered floor. P cannot live on floor no. 8 as O lives above P. So, P lives on floor no. 6. Now there will be two cases: S can live either at place no. 4 or 2. T can live either at place no. 2 or 4. From (ii), M and O will live on floor no. 8 and 7 respectively. Q and R will live on floor no. 5 and 1 respectively. Case 2 will get discarded as N lives one of the floors above on which T lives.
Final arrangement as shown below:
Calculate the value of x2,  if [(8 + 62) ÷ 4 of x + 2.5 × 5 = 42 + 20% of 10].
√ (12+√ (12+√ (12+ ⋯ ∞ ))Â
648 ÷ 36 × 49 – 1012 + 847 = ?
1024 ÷ 16 + 800 ÷ √64 + ? = 200 * 2
12.232 + 29.98% of 539.99 = ? × 5.99
- What will come in place of (?) in the given expression.
(14)² – (12)² = ? 1/6+ 999*53/54 ×9 = ?
33 × 5 - ?% of 250 = 62 - 6
323 × 15 + (?)² = 4989
13 X √? + 256 ÷ 4 = 30% of 900 - 50
