Question
How many persons live between T and the one who likes
Blue? Study the following information carefully and answer the question given below: Seven persons P, Q, R, S, T, U and V live on seven different floors of a building such as bottommost floor is numbered as one and the topmost floor is numbered as seven. Also they like different type of colour among White, Black, Cream, Red, Blue, Green and Pink but not necessarily in the given order. S lives on an even numbered floor. Three persons live between S and the one who likes Cream. The one who likes green lives immediately below the one who likes cream. R likes black but does not live below S. Two persons live between R and the one who likes blue. P likes red and lives immediately above T. T does not like blue. Q neither likes blue nor lives adjacent to the one who likes blue and S. Person who likes Pink lives immediately above U. Person who likes Pink does not live adjacent to R. V does not like White.Solution
Here we have, S lives on an even number floor. Three persons live between S and the one who likes cream. The one who likes chocolates lives immediately below the one who likes cream. Here we get two possibilities. Again we have, R likes Black but does not live below S. Two persons live between R and the one who likes Blue.
Again we have, P likes red and lives immediately above T. T does not like blue. Q neither likes Blue nor lives adjacent to the one who likes Blue and S.
Case-II and case-II (q) get eliminated because no space left for P. Again we have, Person who likes Pink lives immediately above U. Person who likes Pink does not live adjacent to R. V does not like White.
