The question given below consists of two statements numbered I, and II given below it. You have to decide whether the data provided in the statements are sufficient to answer the question. Read all the statement and answer the question.

Six persons S, T, U, V, W, and X live on different floors of a six-floor building. The bottommost floor is numbered as 1 and the topmost floor is numbered as 6. _____ lives on 5th floor.

  Statement I: X lives three floors above T, who lives on a prime numbered floor. V lives one floor below W. W doesn’t live on a prime numbered floor.

Statement II: S lives one floor above X, who lives on an odd numbered floor. Three persons live between S and T.

Solution

From I. X lives on 5th floor. Hence data given in statement, I alone is sufficient to answer the question. From II. As there are two cases.  So, data given in statement II alone is not sufficient to answer the question.
