II. D is the daughter of B. D is married to E. E is the only child of A. C is the sister-in-law of E.

Solution

From I. We cannot determine the relationship of C with B as C can be daughter or daughter – in – law of B. Hence statement I alone is not sufficient to answer the question.   From II. C is daughter of B. Hence statement II alone is sufficient to answer the question.
