    six faces of which are numbered 72, 83, 76, 87, 98 and 45. Select the number that will be on the face opposite to the one showing '72'.

    Solution

    Here, '72' is the common side in both the figures. In clockwise direction, the sequence will be (72, 76 and 83) in figure 'a'. In clockwise direction, the sequence will be (72, 98 and 87) in figure 'b' Clearly, '72' must be opposite to '45'.
