    Answer the questions based on the information given below. There are six rods namely, R, S, T, U, V and W. They have different heights. Rod V is longer than rod T but shorter than rod U and S. Rod R is longer than rod U and S. Rod R is not the longest. Rod W is 150 cm long and rod V is 105cm long. No two rods are of the same height.

    If the height of rod U is 4cm less than the height of

    Solution

    Rod V is longer than rod T but shorter than rod U and S. U/S > V > T Rod R is longer than rod U and S. R > U/S > V > T Rod R is not the longest. Rod W is 150 cm long and rod V is 105cm long. No two rods are of the same height. W(150) > R > S/U > U/S > V(105) > T Height of rod U = 150 – 4 = 146 cm. So, height of R will be between 146 – 150.
