Let total work = 48 units
Efficiency of (X + Y) = 48 / 24 = 2 units/day
Efficiency of Y = 48 / 48 = 1 unit/day
Work done by Y = 36 Γ 1 = 36 units
Work done by X = 48 β 36 = 12 units
Percentage of work done by X = (12 / 48) Γ 100 = 25%
