    A Rs.1,800 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    B Rs.2,318 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    C Rs.5,246 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D Rs.1,040 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    ATQ;
    Let the total work = L.C.M of 20 and 10 = 20 units

    Then, efficiency of 'Sanya' alone = 20 ÷ 20 = 1 unit/day

    Combined efficiency of 'Riya' and 'Sanya' = 20 ÷ 10 = 2 units/day

    So, efficiency of 'Riya' alone = 2 - 1 = 1 unit/day

    Work done by 'Riya' alone in 6 days = 1 × 6 = 6 units

    So, payment received by 'Riya' = (6/20) × 6000 = Rs. 1,800
