    Solution

    Let total amount of work be 32 units
    Efficiency of (A + B) = 32/16 = 2 units/day
    Efficiency of ‘B’ = 32/32 = 1 unit/day
    Amount of work done by ‘B’ = 24 × 1 = 24 units
    Percentage of work done by ‘A’ = {(32 – 24)/32} × 100 = 25%
