    Let total amount of work be 34 units (LCM of 17 and 34). Efficiency of ‘A’ = 34/17 = 2 units/day Efficiency of ‘B’ = 34/34 = 1 units/day Amount of work done by ‘A’ and ‘B’ together in 4 days = (2 + 1) × 4 = 12 units Time taken by B to complete remaining work = {(34 – 12)/1} = 22 days
