    Let the total work be 16 units. (LCM of 8 and 16) Efficiency of A = 16/8 = 2 units/day Efficiency of B = (16/16) × (40/100) = 2/5 units/day Ratio of the efficiency of A : B = 2 : 2/5 = 10:2 Share of A = (10/12) × 1500 = Rs.1250
