Solution
Let B take t hours after starting to catch A. Time of A = t + 1/2 hour Distance covered is same for both when B catches A: 4(t + 1/2) = 6t 4t + 2 = 6t 2 = 2t t = 1 hour Distance from P = speed of B × time of B = 6 × 1 = 6 km
