Let the distance between depot ‘D’ and warehouse ‘W’ be ‘d’ km Let the correct time to travel be ‘t’ hours According to the question, (d/60) = t + 1 And, (d/80) = t - 1 Or, (d/60) - (d/80) = 2 Or, (4d - 3d) ÷ 240 = 2 Or, d = 2 × 240 = 480 Therefore, distance between depot ‘D’ and warehouse ‘W’ is 480 km.
