Let total distance = 100x Distance covered by car = 20% of 100x = 20x Distance covered by Train = 5/(5+3) Γ 40% of (100x β 20x) = 20x Distance covered by Taxi = 3/(5+3)Β Γ 40% of (100x β 20x) = 12x Distance covered on feet = 100x β 20x β 20x β 12x = 48x Total distance covered by Car and Taxi = 20x + 12x => 32x = 192 km (Given) Total journey = 100 Γ 192/32 = 600 km
