Let the initial speed of the bike be ‘x’ km/hr Therefore, speed of the car = 1.24x km/hr According to the question, 7 × 1.24x – (5x + 2 × 1.41x) = 43 => 8.68x – 7.82x = 43 => x = 43/0.86 = 50 km/hr
