      Let the total journey be = 42 km (LCM of the denominator of 4/7, 5/6) At 10.30 am, Robert covers 4/7 of the whole journey i.e., 42 × 4/7 = 24 km At 4.00 pm, Robert covers 5/6 of the whole journey i.e., 42 × 5/6 = 35 km Therefore, Robert covers (35 - 24) = 11 km in (4.00 pm – 10.30am) = 5.5 hours. Then the speed of a Robert = 11/(5.5 ) = 2 km per hour Time taken by Robert to cover 24 km = 24/2 hours =12 hours Then the starting time of the journey is 10.30am - 12 hours = 10:30 pm
