    A Rs. 1,000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    B Rs. 900 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    C Rs. 750 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D Rs. 800 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Let the amount invested in three parts be Rs. ‘p’, Rs. ‘q’ and Rs. ‘r’ ATQ; (p × 0.07 × 1) = (q × 0.07 × 2) = (r × 0.07 × 3) Or,
    p = 2q = 3r Let p = 2q = 3r = ‘6t’ So,
    p = 6t
    q = 3t
    r = 2t So,
    p + q + r = 2750 Or,
    6t + 3t + 2t = 2750 Or,
    11t = 2750 Or,
    t = 250 So, required difference = 6t − 2t = 4t = 4 × 250 = Rs. 1,000
