Question
Ravi deposits Rs. 8,240 on simple interest at 5% per annum
for 4 years. If the total amount he gets back is Rs. '2m', then find the product of the digits of 'm'.Solution
ATQ,
Simple interest = Principal × Rate × Time ÷ 100
Interest earned = 8,240 × 5 × 4 ÷ 100 = Rs. 1,648
2m = 8,240 + 1,648
Or, 2m = 9,888
Or, m = 4,944
Required product = 4 × 9 × 4 × 4 = 576
A = (4/3) × B and C = (1/8) × A. If (A + B + C) = 210, then determine the value of (9C – B).
