    Solution

    SI received from 30% of the sum = (0.3 x 600 x 5 x 6)/100 = Rs.54 SI received from 70% of the sum = (0.7 x 600 x 15 x 4)/100 = Rs.252 Therefore, total SI received = Rs.(54 + 252) = Rs.306
