and Z in the ratio 10:14:16 respectively. However, it was mistakenly distributed in the ratio 9:11:12 respectively. Calculate the difference between the amount X was supposed to get and the amount actually received by Y.Solution
ATQ,
Amount supposed to be received by 'X' = 6720 × (10/40) = Rs. 1680
Actual amount received by 'Y' = 6720 × (11/32) = Rs. 2310
So, required difference = 2310 - 1680 = Rs. 630
