Chhaya is 4/5 of income of Prashant and difference between income of Palak and Chhaya is ₹2400. The saving of Prashant, Palak and Chhaya are in the ratio of 7:5:3. If the expenditure of Chaya is ₹15600, then find the difference between savings of Prashant and Palak.Solution
Income of Prashant and Palak is 9a and 8a respectively.
Income of Chhaya = 9a*4/5 = 36a/5 = 7.2a
Income of Palak - Income of Chhaya = 2400
8a - 7.2a = 2400
a = 3000
Income of Prashant, Palak and Chhaya are ₹27000, ₹24000 and ₹21600 respectively.
Expenditure of Chhaya = ₹15600
Savings of Chhaya = 21600 - 15600 = 6000
Difference between savings of Prashant and Palak = (7 - 5)*6000/3 = ₹4000
