Let 'B' = 5y
Therefore, 'A' = 5y X (2/5) = 2y
And, 'C' = (5y) X (4/3) = (20y/3)
Therefore, (A + B) = 2y + 5y = 7y
And, (B + C) = 5y + (20y/3) = (35y/3)
Therefore, (A + B) :(B + C) = 7y:(35y/3) = 3:5
