There is a mixture of 63 liters of apple juice and water
in a vessel. The ratio of apple juice to water is 3:4. If 14 liters of the mixture is taken out and 6 liters of water is added, then approximately what percentage will be the apple juice in the final mixture?Solution
Total mixture of Apple juice and water = 63 Let the mixture contain apple juice =3x and water = 4x 3x + 4x = 63 X = 9 So now – 
(and 6 liters of water is added then) Now the percentage of apple juice in the total mixture = (21/55) ×100 =2100/55 =38.1%
