Let the incomes of Vineet and Vidya be Rs. 8x and Rs. 5x respectively. According to the question, => 0.75 x 8x + 0.8 x 5x = 45000 => 6x + 4x = 45000 => x = 4500 Required difference = 8x – 5x = 3x = Rs.13500
