respectively. Vineet saves 25% of his income while Vidya saves 20% of his income. The sum of their expenditures is Rs.45000. Find the difference between their incomes.Solution
Let the incomes of Vineet and Vidya be Rs. 8x and Rs. 5x respectively. According to the question, => 0.75 x 8x + 0.8 x 5x = 45000 => 6x + 4x = 45000 => x = 4500 Required difference = 8x – 5x = 3x = Rs.13500
