    Number of boys in class IX = 56 × (9/14) = 36 Number of girls in class IX = 56 × (5/14) = 20 Again, Number of boys in class X = 60 × (8/15) = 32 Number of girls in class X = 60 × (7/15) = 28 Total of boys in two classes = 36 + 32 = 68 Total of girls in two classes = 20 + 28 = 48 Difference = 68 - 48 = 20
