    I. 7x² + 27x + 18 = 0 7x² + 21x + 6 x + 18 = 0  7x(x + 3) + 6 (x + 3) = 0 (7x + 6) (x + 3) = 0 x = -6/7 , - 3 II. 19y² - 27y + 8 = 0 19y² - 19y - 8 y + 8 = 0  19y(y – 1) – 8(y – 1) = 0 (y – 1)(19 y – 8) = 0 y = 1, 8/19 Hence, x < y
