to selling price of 12 kg of sugar. If he purchased the total sugar for Rs. 924, then find the selling price of per kg of the sugar.Solution
Let the selling price of the sugar be Rs. x/kg.
Therefore, loss = Rs. 12x.
According to the question,
12x = 924 – 30x (Since, loss = cost price – selling price)
Or, 42x = 924
Or, x = 22
Therefore, selling price of each kg of sugar = Rs. 22
