    selling, he uses a faulty weight that shows 1100 grams instead of 1000 grams but claims to sell it at a profit of 25%. Find the total profit earned by him from selling the wheat bought by him.

    ATQ,

    Cost price of 10 kg wheat = 300×10 = Rs.3000

    Quantity of wheat sold = 1.10×10 = 11 kg

    Selling price of 10 kg of wheat sold = (1.25×300) × 11= Rs.4125

    Required profit = 4125−3000 = Rs.1125
