    Let cost price of the article is Rs. ‘x’ So, Selling price of the article = 0.75 × 1.7 × x = Rs. 1.275x According to question; 1.275x – x = 275 Or, 0.275x = 275 Or, x = 1000 Desired Percentage = [(1350 – 1000)/1000] × 100 = 35%
