    Let the cost price of article ‘A’ be Rs. 4x Marked price of article ‘A’ = 1.26 × 4x = Rs. 5.04x Selling price of article ‘A’ = 5.05x × 0.8 = Rs. 4.032x Or, 4x + 264 = 4.032x Or, 0.032x = 264 Or, x = 8250 Cost price of article ‘B’ = 5x = 5 × 8250 = Rs. 41250
