    Solution

    Let the MP, SP and CP on an article be 13x, 10x and 8x respectively. According to question, => (13x – 8x) = 1250 => 5x = 1250 => x = 250 Now, Profit = SP – CP => Profit = (10x – 8x) = 2x = Rs.500
