    C Rs. 172 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D Rs. 170 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Let, cost price of item be Rs. x.
    So, mark price = Rs. 1.25x
    According to question,
    1.25x [0.90 – 0.80] = 30
    1.25x = 300
    x = 240
    Therefore, required selling price = 240 × 1.23 = Rs. 295.20
